The ITEC – International Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) course kicked off its 2025 edition with a successful first session from February 26 to 28 at IHU Strasbourg.
Under the direction of Dr. Leonardo Sosa-Valencia, the event brought together practitioners from all over the world wishing to perfect their skills in Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound (TEUS).

ITEC courses have been approved by the UEG (United European Gastroenterology Association), a guarantee of excellence for participants.
A program of excellence for mastering cutting-edge techniques
Designed for endosonographers and interventional endoscopists, the program combines advanced theoretical sessions with intensive practical training on ex vivo and in vivo models:
- 14+ hours of hands-on sessions on models
- Mentoring and exchange with international experts
- Pratical application of the latest EUS-guided techniques:
- Biliary and pancreatic drainage,
- Radiofrequency,
- Gastrointestinal anastomoses,
- Embolization and much more…
